Changelog: What's New in This Guide
Reverse-chronological log of updates to the AI Industry Guide. This guide is reviewed quarterly; significant market events trigger ad-hoc updates to affected vertical pages.
Provenance review of the two highest-traffic cross-vertical pages. The vertical-vs-horizontal AI ROI figure (previously stated as approximately 500% vs 171%, attributed to Lyzr) was removed: Lyzr's State of AI Agents in Enterprise (Q1 2026) carries no such comparison (only an 'up to 50% efficiency gains' estimate), and no primary source for the 500%/171% multiples could be located. The claim is now stated qualitatively with an explicit caveat that published ROI multiples are vendor-sourced and vary widely. The Salesmotion AI SDR figure was re-sourced to its actual page (AI SDR Tools Compared, February 2026, aggregating SuperAGI and Broadn.io) and the '2%' figure corrected: it is the share of full AI SDR deployments that stick long-term (50-70% churn within a year), not a 'pure autonomous success' rate. Stale citation URL fixed (salesmotion.com to salesmotion.io).
Five verified corrections. Harvey's March 2026 raise relabelled: $200M growth round at an $11B valuation co-led by GIC and Sequoia (previously mislabelled Series D; the Series D was $300M in February 2025). GitHub Copilot updated to 4.7M paid subscribers (Microsoft Q2 FY2026 earnings, January 2026) and pricing corrected: $10/month Pro for individuals, $19/user/month Business. HubSpot Breeze launch date corrected to September 2024 (INBOUND), with outcome-based agent pricing noted from April 2026. Nuance DAX renamed Microsoft Dragon Copilot (March 2025 rebrand). Codeium entry retired: the product is now Windsurf, acquired by Cognition in 2025.
First publication of the AI Industry Guide. 15 vertical pages, 6 cross-vertical pages, and 4 supporting pages. All verticals graded by maturity. 150+ named vendors across all verticals.
About the Refresh Cadence
This guide is reviewed quarterly. Vendor lists, maturity grades, and use case examples are updated each quarter based on: significant new vendor launches or pricing changes, major funding rounds that signal vertical maturity shifts, regulatory changes affecting deployment, and new public ROI data from analyst reports or vendor case studies.
Each update is logged here with the affected vertical(s) and what changed. The "Last verified [Month] [Year]" stamp on each vertical page reflects the most recent quarterly review date.
